I didn't think they looked that good in the first half when we kept the ball more. We broke quite easily when we passed it to our players rather than theirs, it's just it broke down at their penalty area with wayward passes. It just seemed the usual deer in the headlights in the end. Of course when they got the own goal it was big boost for them, kind of like that Arsenal game last season when Meyler gifted the opposition a goal.

I was listening on Viking and they also said Grosicki was the most dangerous of our players and all the attacking threat was coming down his side. I'll watch the Tiger Player full game replay tomorrow and make my own mind up.

Dangerous in the same way that being mauled by a new born kitten is dangerous.

Their comment was that he had the beating of Navas every time he got the ball...I'll have to see what the TP replay shows.

That's exactly it. He regularly beat Navas but then failed to deliver one decent cross. Enigma.

Reminded me of Dennis Healey's description of being criticised by Geoffrey Howe "like being ravaged by a dead sheep" <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Having taken a long look at the match replay on Tiger Player two things are evident about Grosicki. Firstly he had the beating of Navas for speed every time he pushed the ball past him to run on to. As did Sterling against Robertson. But Grosicki's crosses with his left foot were generally low and poorly directed while Sterlings were lofted into dangerous areas. Grosickis corners with his right foot were very good though. It seems obvious that Grosicki would be more effective playing on the right side....as others have already mentioned. But apparently he prefers playing on the left.

I have actually been mauled by a kitten.. no joke.. it was a feral one, my Mum had too many cats living in her garden so we decided to remove some round the back of the lake in a forest by a water source..we used a cat basket to transport them.. well, the first kitten was wild, it went beserk and ripped my hands up with claws and teeth.. when I got it into the basket (by then, wisely using gardening gloves) it continued ramming the door with its head!
