Harry Maguire, Abel Hernandez and Evandro are all set to miss out on Sunday’s final game of the 2016/17 Premier League campaign against Tottenham Hotspur at the KCOM Stadium. Maguire picked up a knee injury after a challenge with Christian Benteke in the early stages of the second half against Crystal Palace last weekend, whilst Evandro suffered a groin strain in the defeat at Selhurst Park. Hernandez missed the Palace trip with an ankle injury and remains unavailable for Spurs’ visit to the KCOM. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...me-of-season-3719501.aspx#aYTqdDoqDKIURFqc.99
Dropping like flies. I'd like to see Bowen given a start and maybe Tymon either in front or behind Robbo.
With Harry and Abel I presume this is eradicating any risk of them picking up an injury before they're sold
very few ****s given about the match now, stick a few of the young lads in, there is certainly hope there, but hopefully it'll turn out better in the long term than back in 2010 when we thought Cooper, Cairney, Cullen and Atkinson would be long term answers to our problems!
Maguire's had a dodgy knee now for some months - finally succumbed to injury last Sunday. Hernandez was injured in training last week otherwise he'd have made the bench (at least) last week. Evandro's had niggling injuires for 3 months. No surprises.
Yeah Maguire hurt himself against Burnley and has gone down on that knee a few times since. He's just a bit of monster. Wouldn't be surprised if it's actually quite a serious injury.
Probably needs an op. Might keep him out for roughly about 3 months, 1 week, 6 days and nine and a half hours. Just approximately.
Spurs certainly don't look like they're relaxing one bit against Leicester tonight (HT 0-2). Hope they play their strongest team on Sunday to give our squad & incumbent manager a good test. A good showing may help decision making for next season.
