Far to many have been today. It's been a bit flat for a couple of weeks. I feel like we may need some new signings to freshen things up. But we are dropping to many points at home.

This is going to happen most weeks as we are a soft touch at the moment. Refs can't handle the pressure and will always bottle it. The foul count was shocking. But credit to shef wed. They got their game plan spot on just like Blackburn did. It felt like a carbon copy. We need another cm to ensure colback never plays. He is a terrible footballer.

 

Just like Blackburn we were kicked off the park - these Ref's can't see the systematic fouling tactics

 

I see far too much of slow play, with us passing the ball around the back four.
It's like we're already a few goals up and we don't need to get the ball into their box.

If Sheff Wed could have scored early, it would have woke us up to do something sooner.

play from the back four was like gaining only 2 yards for each pass along the back which was getting us nowhere slowly

there was no drive from the midfield at all

I reckon off the back of this and the tiote sale we will get a shelvey backup cos alot of the hoofball and back 4 buffonery was reminiscent of mclaren times, its amazing what a player like that actually changes. Ans can we start playing lazaar, hows he not worth a punt?

 

shev type players are very hard to come by....quarter back style..i.e..dream boat cabye.... You can't just go and buy one just like that so you need to change ya style of play until he's back

 

I think we've been worked out.

Against physical opponents we're poor. Our soft underbelly has little fight. Both Blackburn and the owls got away with as much as they could, and we had no answer to it. The refs in this league let it go.

Gouffran was awful, as was Dummett. Colback was his usual self and supported ably by Diame being slow and unpacy.

The lack of urgency was there again - we only pressed when we were getting beat.

It needs addressing - all our main rivals who played caught up today.

Atsu made a difference when he came on, and Ritchie was dire last night and has been in recent weeks, I'd be tempted to start Atsu over Ritchie next game. Colback should get another chance, because as ****e as he was last night, he's just back from injury and we have no other options.

 

Perez is way out of his depth in this league. I coured 5 bookings last night for them ****s. Should have been a lot more.
