Daft **** strolled in today after being to the game today.... I said.. "poor showing today and tbh mate ya team looks fooking woeful".... "na".. He said... We have "a canny midfield and some good youngings coming through"... And before I could reply I got... "ye lot will struggle and go down".... "aye steve just like last year mate when you said we'd struggle". I hope to **** we prove these fukas wrong again.
They are looking very poor and need time to gel. Until then they will struggle badly but probably gear up to a mid-table finish or play-offs at a push. We are poor and almost certainly will get relegated. If we gel or have a good run then we may finish above the relegation zone, I'm not confident though.
I think we've got the quality to put up a decent fight against relegation. It will be a fight though. But let's not kid ourselves - next year 17th place is success.
I look at stoke, Bournemouth, West brom, Brighton, Huddersfield, West ham, Southampton, Burnley, Leicester,Watford and not being big headed but I don't fear them and when I watched these illustrious teams on sky in glorious high definition battling it out with each other it was fooking hard work. Top 8sneak the odd win you never na. Ktf
I'm fairly sure we'll be above Brighton and certainly Huddersfield next season and we only need to better one other team after that. There's a few teams that aren't that great. It will be an up and down season for sure but Rafa has them well organised usually and we'll compete with most teams. Get your tin hat on for the first game against Spurs, though, because I can see us getting spanked in that one.
I don't think Sunderland are anywhere near set up for the challenge of the Championship and their fans are going to be given a kicking into reality, I'll watch the match on Friday night out of interest but don't see them getting anywhere near promotion.
The last time I looked they were 8th favourites to be promoted, but another four or five were roughly the same price. I see the upcoming Championship season being one of the toughest ever, there will be plenty of other teams who think they will there or thereabouts at the end.
I thought they might have an outside chance with the right signings but, really, what have they actually bought? They seem to think Messi learnt from Mcgeady himself so they'll be hoping they can split him into 11 positions
Our defence is all ower the place man, we should have got Terry in first to organise them, Watmore will be great though when he is fit plus Mgeady. As for the premier Burnley (if their home record gans), Huddersfield and Brighton for the drop.
Its terrible... I live on a country lane of 5houses and one of the fukas is a mackem... You couldn't make it up. When they moved in and I seen the 5under1and towel on the washing line my ****in heart sank.... Ffs nooooooooooooooo!
