Obviously. I think he is fragile mentally but the lad is very talented. I just cannot see this happening in any way shape or form. Firstly the English angle makes me think Man U will be reluctant to offload him. They also invested a lot, I could see them loaning him in the hope he has a great season and then recoup more of their money if they do sell him. Or they get the player they bought back. If they do offload him I think you would find us some way down his list of options.
Aye, I'd certainly take him. Dummets improving and gets far too much stick imo, but it's good to have bit healthy competition. I'd also love Callum Chambers the Arsenal CB who is currently on load at Boro. Should be available for £10m. Gibson looks a class act, but he'll end up at one of the top 6 I reckon. Townsend £13m. Another midfielder and forward. Realistic targets and wouldn't break the bank.
Chambers would be a good buy. I think personally we would be a good option for Shaw. Will definitely play (if fit!) and a good manager. Agree I could see a loan as more of a possibility tho initially.
I'd take him in a heartbeat although I suspect we won't be high up his list. Although I'd imagine Rafa is a pull for a lot of players
Chambers is a great call if Arsenal are not retaining. Him and Gibson look quality. In an ideal world we sign Jenkinson, Chambers, Gibson, Shaw I'm getting a bit carried away about our budget again... Chambers would be a great signing.
What about Harry Maguire? He'd be my top choice if we are indeed after a CB and I don't necessarily think his availability depends on Hull going down.
I think Maguire is decent too. Of the centre backs around, you'd be looking at Keane, Maguire, Gibson, Sakho, Chambers as the ones to keep an eye on. I also like the look of this Mawson lad at Swansea but he ain't been there long. Those are the ones at the lower end clubs who have potential or are at a top club not getting a look in.
Sakho is absolutely cack I think. He's sort of alright at defending but get him on the ball and it looks like he's playing with a watermelon
Carr should have only drawn up transfer A lists. His mistake was drawing up lists of alternative options of descending price and quality. MA only had eyes for the Z list.
