Have you ever won anything in non-sporting competitions?

I hardly ever enter any of these draws, but after a lifetime of nothing, I won a 32inch LED TV in a John Lewis prize draw a couple of years ago, and yesterday I won an all-expenses paid skiing holiday for 4 in France in a Kronenbourg scratchcard competition! I hope my knees will stand it after a lifetime of abuse playing football.........

Hopefully this luck will continue and rub off on our squad...!

    Anyone ever won anything decent?

    Well done bcfcredandwhite !
Never won so much as a raffle tbh, but my old man won £800 on Arsenal to do the double in 1971.
I can remember him turning up for work to a standing ovation the next day...

    Samsung 42 inch 3d tv.

    few small lottery wins.

    Nothing life changing though.

Those are all pretty big prizes!

That kitchen sounds good - mine cost £10k in 2007!

I won the Dorchester Town FC Supporters Club raffle for a FA Cup Final Ticket in 1981
Spurs 1 Man City 1 - Tommy Hutch scored at both ends

I won the half-time draw at City once - they gave me a brown envelope on the pitch-side with £800 in it - was worried I was going to get mugged!

I won the half-time prize once, £600, I left 10 minutes early because I thought I would be mugged for my brown envelope and I missed a City goal as well, I was in Lady Smythes and heard the cheers, I was as sick as a parrot even though I had that money hid down my vest...

When I won we beat Swansea 1-0 (Louis scored) - I think it end a long run of defeats in the early days of GJ's reign. My wife said that when we went out that night all I talked about was us beating Swansea - not the cash!

Was that the first defeat at the Liberty for them?
