The lad's had an operation on that jaw. He's apparently now back home but the Club say, "a rehabilitation period of approximately two months is expected". A positive is that his recovery time will be spent at Fulham rather that an at Chelsea and which must be a good sign for the future.
He's probably spent more time at Fulham than Chelsea at this point in his career! Get well soon, Lucas. I hope you'll beat that two month recovery time.
Shame for him, he had been playing really well and fast becoming an important player for us. Hope to see him back soon.
Not sour grapes guys but he really should have seen red for that challenge. Hope he recovers soon. Have to say Cairney was awesome yesterday.
