Not sure how many AV fans are knocking about on here, dont think I have ever been to this board. But just want to say Villa have impressed me in the first two games, excellent performance against Arsenal and a deserved 3 points. Also very unlucky not to get something out of your game against us yesterday. You will deffo get top 10 or maybe better on these showings, no more relegation battles. And to think, I thought you may struggle again this year, shows what I know about AV! Good luck this season
They do look like a different outfit this season. And 'unlucky' against Chelsea, more like ****ing robbed If they can establish a run of good form it won't be long before we see the spuds slagging them off again like we used to when Spurs and Villa were both pushing for a top four spot a few seasons ago.
For Aston Villa last Season was the 'make you or break you' one and neither the Manager nor the players broke. This Season the lads from last year plus the new signings will see Aston Villa advance up the EPL table. It is the same Club (as ever), but with a team more than capable of just hanging on ! As for the match last night, it was Aston Villa playing against Chelsea and their 'Friend' !!!
It's a pattern with the spuds though, they try and pour vitriol on the club that looks closest to overtaking them. A while ago it was Newcastle, then Villa now as you mention, HIAG's unhealthy obsession with Liverpool. If Villa have a good season, I can see the old HolteEnd-esque rows brewing up again.
