Currently no but as you say it could be somehow. How you go from freedom to say China type control would have to be prevented. The issue with Guantanamo is three fold A) no trial, no hope of end in sight B) no access, horrendous conditions, abuses. C) outside the controls of checks and balances. The yank who made that and the tortures at that place betrayed everything his country ever supposedly stood for but Obama who claimed to 've better didn't fix a thing which was just as bad. If Europe created a detention super island someplace you need all the checks and balances and something to try people for. AND I would probably create one but eventual decision must be repatriate or release.
A..That is the main problem with our situation, you can't have a trial without a crime, we are talking about people on "watched lists" who are very likely to commit one but haven't yet. B..agreed, totally unacceptable. C..I did say create an independent panel to constantly monitor each case of detention. It's hard and maybe some innocents would suffer but if it saved lives I would not complain.
Not really a flaw, the 57 virgins thing is meant to be a reward for glorious death in combat, not for blowing yourself up to kill children. Smash their bollocks off and let them live to contemplate the lunacy of the idea.
There was a documentary last year about one of the terrorists being a supporter of IS http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-40163777/london-attacker-was-in-tv-documentary-on-extremism Now May's acting all hard saying she'll rip up human rights laws Er, no thanks you stupid ****ing bitch, how about you just show the basic level of competency instead
