Pritchard opened the scoring for Brentford, who are sneaking a play-off place as things stand. 2-0 up, but they're reliant on other results.
They're 5th at the moment though so Ipswich would need to recover a 2 goal defecit and Derby need to score to knock them out of the playoffs. Don't want to tempt fate but it's all gone perfectly for them so far.
Brentford make it! Derby suffer from a stark example of the Darren Bent Effect and throw it away. Sign Bent, top the league, he scores, the team's results suffer and they tumble out of the play-offs on the final day. He even managed to show it on the day. Failed to put away a crucial penalty at 1-0 and they conceded another two. Should be a nice experience for Pritchard and a good way to leave the club for Warburton, who'll walk into another job. Hope they at least make the final, but it'll be a tough ask against a good Boro side.
Delle Alli played another 90 minutes, as MK Dons beat Yeovil Town 5-1 to seal a promotion place. That came at the expense of Preston, who failed to breach the defence of Colchester United. Bongani Khumalo's side nicked a late goal to win 1-0 and stay up as a result. He also played the full game.
Pritchard's picked up another award, being picked as Match Magazine's Young Football League POTY. Nice to see him getting the plaudits. Hope he does well for them in the play-offs.
Well that ruined Khumalo's weekend: http://www.cu-fc.com/news/article/bongani-khumalo-tottenham-hotspur-colchester-united-2445646.aspx?
My first inclination is to find out if there's any churches in Colchester that have got more bibles than they did last week.
Pritchard's playing for Brentford on Sky Sports 1 if anyone's interested. Good stuff from Brentford so far.
Pritchard didn't have his best game but he stood out again for his trickery on the ball and nearly set up a late equaliser. Brentford shaded a really good game but the late deflected goal defeated them. Still well up for grabs after tonight, Brentford always look capable of scoring goals but their defence is letting them down again, along with Andre Gray who is a really average striker at Championship level. Brentford's Youtube channel are good for highlights and you'll want to see Gray's miss tonight utterly abysmal. In other Spurs news, Button once again made some good saves. Wouldn't be surprised if Howe was there to watch him, he looks ready for another step up in my humble opinion.
Adomah deserved that, he's been really good over both legs. Brentford out with a whimper after all their hardwork to get to the playoffs, very proffessional from Boro they look ready for the Premier League.
