Today and the next three championship games are LJs biggest test in his young managerial time. SL has backed him, where most managers on this losing run would have been sacked. You need to win at least 2 games, and a draw in my opinion.Anything less and sadly it will be time for change. SL has backed you,now is the time for you to show your credentials, time to put a team on the pitch that can win Football games, something that has been a problem for a long time. I am not going today, after watching that rubbish against Reading, but will be at the Cardiff game hoping to see a revigourated side, playing attacking, exciting football. The ball is in your court now LJ time to perform.
Typical City A respite from the league and we still fail to beat a team lower down in the football pyramid than us. Lose to Cardiff and Junior has to go for me.
Needs to sort it by the Rotherham game. Lose that one, there would be no other option. If based on results alone, he would be gone by now already
that is the beauty of the cup ..a great leveller where minnows have their day . Millwall Wolves Derby ok only a division for 2 of them.. 6 prem clubs out already 6 championship out with 9 through 2 replaying lesser division .. the fun of the cup
Ok, but on the other side of the coin, look at the teams who did the job that was expected of them. Brentford, Brighton, Huddersfield, Watford etc
No bodies disputing that bit. It's just that it's the FA Cup it throws up surprises and a 0-0 draw to me is the best thing apart from a win. From what I heard Hegelar looked a tidy player. Wright was another that looked composed. Duric and Tammy played too close, which I always think when Wilbs plays alongside Tammy. So hopefully the coaching staff spot that and address it. Some positives and some negatives from yesterday. Hopefully as Bailey Wright said in his interview once they get a few more training sessions partnerships and understandings will be formed.
****ing Liverpool must be real dogshite if they could only muster a 0-0 draw with a team 4 leagues below them
was coming back from a 3 1/2 hour underground concrete grouting session and heard a lot on the radio as to why he put out that team as did a few other clubs with lesser known players. the gamble is on his part he gets to see the fringe players .. those expected to step in as subs or injury cover ... they were deemed to not be "good enough" irrespective of costing millions! good luck Plymouth if they go out almost £1m in the kitty.....
