The Bloke has more excuses than the Labour Party.
Why not just come out and say we have been beaten once again.
Oh and say what do you want me to do,I'm still learning the trade<doh>

We lost away to a team near the top of the table. Most fans predicted it. There shouldn't be 'meltdown' on any of the boards.

    An expected result happened. NEXT.......

Again, I'm all for criticising LJ, but his post-match comments are not something to be criticised. Wtf do you expect him to say? 'We're doomed and we have no chance'.

GOD knows what he has over SL,but i truly have concerns regards SLs backing on the chosen one.

Even if he is given the job for next season, in league one,do you think he will be good enough to bring city back up,and be honest.
I'm sure the better players will have escape clauses,or will want away.
    Leaving us for pastures new.
LJ must have a spell over the chief, any normal owner would have got rid ages ago.

More importantly the best players we have right now wont want to play in L1, so there will be a player exodus, more rebuilding, more time for players to gel etc and potentially more seasons enjoying visits from the likes of Doncaster, Port Vale and Gillingham.
Attendances will dribble back to 12-13,000

    But relegation is absolutely unthinkable.

And if LJ is allowed to take us down when it's currently totally avoidable and there is still enough time to avert a true disaster, then there should be widespread outrage and protests organised and expressed against Lansdowns ownership and running of the club.

Apart from NW, I don't see any manager out there that we can guarantee to keep us up..either way, it's squeaky bum time!

Whatever anyone thinks of Warnock you can't help but compare his spending with Junior's.
Warnock can gel a team of ordinary players.
Junior can't gel a far numerous and better group of players.

How the bloody hell have we got to this position - Cheers Steve.

I see your point RP........I know it's better than relegation, but do we really want his style of football?? And if he came, how long would he stay? Then we would probably be back to square one! (Look at Rotherham)

That was blatantly obvious when we played them in Cardiff. We were in better form but he managed to get the maximum out of Cardiff and they deservedly beat us.
I just don't see LJ having that skill and level of influence. But then, that comes with many years experience.

you have to heap praise on the man... Hull city = Cardiff City???? 34 points from last 24 games other than 9 games before playing Sheff and last 2 home to Newcastle away to Huddersfield the rest are all lower teams than top 7!

And the likes of Preston, Barnsley, Ipswich, Cardiff, Brentford and others have spent a shed load less.
You may or may not have a problem admitting it's down to Junior, certainly Lansdown does.

I can't get my head round, and nor you if you're honest, of how many players Junior has signed, it's unbelievable.
In our lifetime we've never seen signings like the last 12 months.
This lot below can't get a game.

Paterson - Has looked decent at times.
    Engvall - Mystery.
O'Neil - possibly our best midfielder earlier this season.
Magnusson - I thought he looked good this season.
    O'Dowda - Rarely gets a game.
Lucic - Played a few, where is he now.
There are others, I expect you could name some, and let's be fair the full back situation is beyond belief.
In fact we're as bad defensively as we've ever been.

Junior's employed a scatter gun approach to signing players and it has patently not worked.
He is incapable of getting players to gel and play for him.
I'm afraid therein lies the problem.

One presumes it's down to Junior to get these players or does he ask for players for certain positions and the rest is taken care by someone else? I don't know the answer.
I agree with you regarding the full back situation and being bad defensively...again is he responsible for getting the players in?

I know it's no excuse as it seems to happen most games, but we have had some really bad luck, deflections, pens and misplaced passes at really crucial times, enough to lose us the win or draw of games.......the odd mistake or lack of concentration has lead to the odd goal in such fine margin games.......but hands up.....the dice that LJ is using seems not to be working for him..

    1For
'Aston Villa spent millions more than us' .....................And they have Steve Bruce!!
