Would find it strange if he did, if his agent was massively pushing for a move and we are denying it then you would think the agent wouldn't want to move another of his clients to us.

I love the pro-Scousehampton media, despite the Chairman coming out and specifically saying that VD will not be sold during this transfer window, they are still at it claiming that he will be sold to their beloved shambles of a club for a discounted fee.
Got to admire their single minded optimism

 

It is all because of one line in the interview where Krueger said that he couldn't say for definite that VVD wouldn't be sold this window because you can't ever be definite with situations like this, or words to that effect.

 

I like our new manager's response to VVD and transfer questions. Not quite 'no comment' but nothing that can be used much by media sensationalists. Even when he knew about us signing Lemina just said who?

Latest straw grasping from the scousers is we have been ordered to sell VVD to service our 'vast debt' or fund future signings.

 

This is because if someone came in with a desperate insane bid of 'significantly' 'more than our valuation then we probably would sell. But given the stage of the window it would potentially have to be pogba style money

 

£80M and we would sell tbh, I mean Provided we bring in Hoedt, We are not scrambling as much for a CB.. We would still bring in a pretty decent 1 I would imagine for like 1 4th of the VvD money.

 

We currently have, including Virgil, 3 CB's capable of playing regularly in the Premier League, so I would completely disagree that we would sell just because we get Hoedt in, whatever the price bid for Virgil. Hoedt is a replacement for Fonte, not Virgil.
