Reminds me of that time in the play-off against Derby when we went out on pens. We`d have gone through if away goals counted.

We have had the last laugh. They got embarrassed in the Premier League and we went on to, eventually, have the best years to support our team. Those years are yet to stop.

Good morning on match day -1!

Freezing fog here last night, and bloody cold today, so take care travelling up. But bloody travel as I don't want to be on my own. Do we know how tickets have gone? And do we know if Virgil is coming as more than a spectator?

Dreamed that JWP scored from a free kick into the Anny Road end late on. Only goal of the game. Easy this prediction lark.

Puel saying that he has confidence in Jack Stephens (presumably taken from second part of Puel's interview, as posted above by Whiteley). I know that he would say that, but it is probably true...Jack could be one of our next breakthrough stars. I know that he won't bring the same game as VVD, but all we can ask is that he gives us a good CB performance. It won't be like for like, but a solid performance could see us through. Although an important game, we can't risk Virgil if not fully fit...there is a lot of the season left to go and we no longer have Jose.

 

Be surprised if we took 3 thousand.

 

Hope there is a good crowd, but not surprised that it hasn't sold out. Freezing, mid-week, post-Xmas and an FA Cup match on Saturday. Bit of loin-girding going on.

 

There's a queue on the ticket website, don't know if that's because of a late rush for this match, or they've released tickets for another game.

FA Cup tickets are on general sale now, but I prefer Supertramps idea. .

 

We have completely sold out 4 out of 6 blocks and sold bits of the other two. I expect 4,000+

 

Our fans are always noisy at away games...they will do us proud.

 

Received some bad news earlier which have changed circumstances but the positive is that I'll be able to make the game now tomoorow night. Only thing is that it says that I need to collect in St Marys and that isn't feasable for me to do so living in Manchester. Anyone know a way around this or have the same problem?


Edit: Nice people in the ticket office have sorted me! Roll on tomorrow!!

 

Any update on VVD ...on TSW some poster (don't know if ITK) says broken foot........haven't seen anything anywhere else.
