Even Agard scored in L1 so lets wait and see. And will he get a game, we've a £2.5million striker who can't make the bench now.
He's already got 19 so you are all way out Who is your penalty taker? Do you think if Taylor is on the pitch and you are awarded a penalty, do you think Taylor will be your new penalty taker?
If he plays 10 games then I would be more then happy with 5, a ratio of 1 goal every 2 games otherwise.
I bet he's only a fringe player so 22 3 for us and 19 for the ****witts. I'm more interested in how many games till RR tells us "why do we always do things on the cheap, I said he would never make it, blame Lansdown, blame LJ and then blame the colour of the grass" I'm going to say 5 games @Captain Jack Sparrow Tomlin is penalty taker or Abraham after him if Tomlins not on the pitch.
Tomlin,Tammy in that order,Matty takes a excellent penalty as well, really am excited by his signing, really intrigued to see how far he can go.
I think he will stick 2 in on Saturday, making it difficult to leave him out. I am suggesting 10 goals, because I never learn and I am a crazy optimist I base my reasoning on the type of goals he scored on his cv. Many would have been beautiful goals at any level, and some were unstoppable. He is a good age, experienced enough at the level he has played, and more than capable of doing a Lalana/Lambert. The rest is up to him. Its a shame about Freeman, who I liked as a player, but its not the end of the world. Not for us anyhow. As long as we MAN-UP and start getting points on the board I feel we could do very well next season. Not sure if Freeman will give enough to please The Loft though, and then he will officially become a JOURNEYMAN
I love your optimism, I really do. You come across as a half full type of guy, which is refreshing these days . But it will hurt though when you realise the truth about him. I know you rate the guy and you have your own opinion of him which of course you are entitled to have but as someone who has seen a hell of a lot of him, I can sure you that he aint as good as you think he is. I say that with respect mind
I really do think he will do well, the championship will suit his qualities. I don't blame him crossing over,he has a young family too look after. He will be playing in one of the best grounds in the championship, with big crowds. The stage is set for him,yes I think he will take it in his stride. Yes I think he will go on to do very well for himself.
Lets play a game. Luke James (who was brought in to replace Taylor in the summer but Taylor stayed) has yet to score for us. Matty Taylor has yet to score for you OBVIOUSLY! James has an awful goal scoring record. Only scored 3 goals since the start of the 2014/15 season. Taylor has a good goal scoring record. In the same period of James above, Taylor has scored 67 times. I bet (nothing of course) that James will score more goals than what Taylor scored for you over the last remaining game of this season. Anybody up for this?
bearing in mind we will lose Tammy next season and Wilbs is out of contract, Taylor will get more game time next season, Hopefully, as a championship player but even if not, is a proven scorer in league 1. Reckon he will start on the bench Saturday. Its difficult to leave Tammy out. Considering the next 4 games are tough away ones, I can only see us playing one up front. I dont see that being Taylor. Hence my prediction of 3 as a lot of his time isn't necessarily going to be on the pitch.
