The scum involved in this are lower than feral animals, to sit in police interviews with the usual no comment responses and basically challenging the police to prove their guilt in the full knowledge they can frighten and intimidate ordinary people to keep quiet about what the local community all knew and having their parents encouraging them to do so sickens me too my stomach. I'm watching it again now, I'm almost physically wanting the police to find the gun they've hidden, even though I know this is only a drama. How the police handled this investigation is quite amazing really.
