Smaller the crowd, the 'better' the atmosphere it seems! I wonder if the Liverpool Echo gives Huyton games a better entertainment and atmosphere rating than LFC and EFC?
Jesus ****ing wept, this was the actual headline for the HDM match report... Hull FC 18 Salford Red Devils 54 - Black and Whites battered in embarrassing display
I'll go out on a limb and hazard a guess that the answer is no. Same as I doubt that the Sheffield paper gives the Eagles, a team which has won the Cup as many times as Rovers, higher marks than the Fowls or the Blunts.
Hull improving, only 52 points conceded v Salford today. Fire brigade believed to be still on standby as scoreboard still dangerously overheated. Crowd: 15, 487, average BMI extremely high. Atmosphere and entertainment no doubt skyhigh, still awaiting confirmation. RADDERS IS NO LONGER THE DADDERS IT SEEMS.
You are going to find this hard to believe but it was apparently the worst ever refereeing display. Since the last time. FC lost anyway. They do have some bad luck with refs, they have cost them countless games. Add Rovers crowd to FC's and it will be more than our last game. Get ready for letters in the HDM saying this is proof it is a rugby "town" again.
Some of theirs whingeing about lack of atmosphere at the KCOM and how it's better away when the hard core attend. They've lost 3 out of 5 at home now. Soft touch.
At the Victoria Ground, it was 7/10 for entertainment, 6/10 for atmosphere. Would've been more, but ground was too crowded.
I admire your attempts to interest Hull City fans in what happens in other Hull teams games, but I'm afraid it's never going to work, maybe try here... http://forums.rlfans.com/viewforum.php?f=34
Maybe some of you should back him up because posters on that particular site would be dancing in the streets if Hull City were relegated.
Don't worry Julie I won't be joining the exodus of about 5,000 fans who have stopped going to City/started watching Hull in the last couple of years. Just as in the 70s/80s I didn't find 'other things to do' instead of going to BP.
I just assumed it was someone pointing out how stupidly high the local media rate the piss-poor sport that is RL in a biased sort of way. Are you telling me that these ratings aren't a piss-take?
I have actually posted on there to fight City's corner when things have kicked off in the past. Though as I'm not interested in rugby league, I wouldn't go on there normally and I'm certainly not remotely interested in their results, attendance, or atmosphere.
Most ironic thread of the year... A load of City fans hating on FC because they think FC fans hate City.
