Charlotte Church's hometown, plus the home of Welsh Rugby, the Millenium Stadium, the 2nd home of Stoke City, where we had many a fine day out. So we welcome our opponents, who even though in the top half of an English League, find themselves with only 1 other team with a worse away record in the English League. Seems like it's a good time too come the potteries then, Please visit Wedgewoods as it's dying on it's arse, this will be a battle of the miners, pity we have none left. Just off tangent for a moment, do you think you will get another test match awarded to you sometime soon (cricket), if so i will book for the venue, cause that castle by that big river is really impressive, pity about about the High Street being full of Welsh people shopping. So enjoy your trip up & hope you have a nice day.
I.a.m nah not really , just wandered why you would mention cricket in a thread about your lot and us at the britannia ?
I think you may have us confused with the rabble of Cardiff, home of hoofball along with those other things you mentioned.
Apologies, i thought it was the same town, used too go to rhyl quite a lot when i was younger, please tell me that is in Cardiff?
Closer to liverpool mate up queensferry rd across the bridge head for runcorn turn of and your there ..or... rhyl is in NORTH Wales and Swansea is in SOUTH Wales and Cardiff is in The Championship ok
They say there is no "I" in team. If you spell it in Welsh, not only does it have an "I", it has a roof in it too. "tîm". For no logical reason, I've got a feeling we're going to sneak a result. Our away form until now hasn't reflected fairly I don't think. We played almost all the big clubs away fairly early, so I expected us to do a lot better away from home in the 2nd half of the season, irrespective of how the first half of the season went. I don't really see a reason why the game will be any different to the one at the Liberty... are Stoke's tactics really that different at home?
