A panic buy will not benefit us anymore than keeping the donkey. I can see us seriously struggling this second half of the season. I really hope Warnock can keep the lads motivated because it is certainly going to be a rocky ride.
Unless something happens in the next 6 hours or so in this January "non-window", we'll do well to stay clear of a scrap amongst the bottom 6. I'm pretty sure we've got enough in the tank to finish comfortable mid table if it all clicks together but that is about it for this season.
January transfer for us consisted of Halford and McGreggor, the latter on loan. I agree with Warnock not wanting to panic buy and get someone who isnt needed or wont score goals but come the summer we desperately need to get that striker in, and someone who knows the back of the net!

That must be a typo, Jay? Ar$e maybe? Just random paper talk I hope. I agree with Sparks. Heaven forbid. There's speculation and there's desperation. I know what that would be!!!!
Cardiff City have had a bid accepted for Millwall striker Aiden O'Brien. He met with club officials earlier today. @AllAboutChamp Glad if it's wrong.
Our squad now looks a bit threadbare after 5 going out on loan in the last few days. It was particularly odd seeing Kennedy warming up down the line only to find out he was gone an hour later. Wonder if he knew? No surprise for O'Keefe and Huws as they clearly don't fit with Colin's philosophy. Hope they can all get regular games, match fitness and improve Colin's opinion of them. I wonder if we have recalls? We will be in the soft and smellies if we get a spate of injuries/suspensions as, apart from the remaining subs from last night, there are only a few to come back from injury - Pilks, Lambert, Bennett (he is injured isn't he? I've seen no reports) and Manga. I guess if we get to 50 points Colin may well throw in some of the kids to see what they can do.
I'm not going to lie, I've thoroughly enjoyed this season so far. From relegation scrap to Col's takeover, to climbing slowly, back to relegation scrap, to mid table. It's been so unpredictable and God only knows where we'd be now if Warnock was here at the beginning. I doubt we will see the lads that went out on loan ever again in a City shirt. A couple more for the cull now and we can rebuild next season.
