You've confused 'bigger' with 'better'. And all this rubbish about forgetting the past - do you Norwich and Millwall fans never sing the praises of your club's ex-heroes or think gladly back to days when you enjoyed greater spells of glory? At all?
And all this rubbish about forgetting the past - do you Norwich and Millwall fans never sing the praises of your club's ex-heroes or think gladly back to days when you enjoyed greater spells of glory? At all? ----------------------------------------------------------------- millwall fans want to sing of glory, but as they've had none, just comes out iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.
Your current team isn't that good, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it crap. And we're hardly on about our past every minute of the day, it was cruel of me to pull that trick in my original post on this thread, maybe I should just have mentioned that we're a much bigger club and left it at that. And Chesh weren't they on about the "20+" trophies they won in the 19th century the other day?!
Loiner OF COURSE we do and we like to talk about it every now and then you lot are like Uncle Albert DURRING THE WAR,,,,,,,,,
Someday norwich will be able to boast about trophies! - Delia's omelette of the year 2010/11 Delia's trout sandwich of the season served with pickled onions! and a bed of lemon grass That is something that leeds united just cant compete with!! But its ok there in the premier league for 1 season! these players like, bradley johnson, steve morrison, James Vaughan will keep them up! HAHAHAHA
Of course we do, but not every flippin' minute of the day, just because the current team is crap! -------------------------------------------------------- bit harsh on yourselves carra i wouldn't of called you crap, but if you insist.
And Chesh weren't they on about the "20+" trophies they won in the 19th century the other day?! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Think TC said cups not trophies,as in what he eats his boiled eggs out of.
Read your own post carra, you said you were crap not me. ps i took your hook out ,why you still wasting your time on lower league forums.
Unsubstantiated rumours mean nothing and we've had three good periods in our history. And Huddersfield have never won anything in Europe, CanariesSoccer, so how can they have won as much as us? Never won the League Cup either, and generally pre-war silverware isn't counted any more because it's hardly in living memory. So going by that general rule, they've won no major honours at all. Never been UEFA top club either, then again no British club has been UEFA top club as many times as Leeds United so that's hardly surprising. Why does silverware have anything to do with a club's size anyway? Completely illogical thought process. A big club has lots of fans (Leeds are a big club). A historic club has a rich history which includes trophies (Leeds are a historic club, as are Huddersfield if you're concerned with that far back). A successful club is one doing well at the moment (Norwich are a more successful club at the minute than Leeds, likewise Leeds are more successful than Millwall). Wish people wouldn't constantly conflate those.
For ****s sake don't tell the 'wall lads that, they can't take it, you'll be banned before you know it.
