Leo has a sensational attitude. He's a model professional but he's been let down by his agent big time.

 

Wasn't his agent I just watched giving an interview. Understandable Ranieri not wanting to sell to a rival.

 

Absolute twat, lost respect for him. Of course we aren't going to sell for a pittance to a rival. Why doesn't his agent get a team from Spain to cough up?

Always liked Leo a lot a good honest player will always be remembered for his goals which helped us to our dream of winning the PL but I do understand LCFC stance not selling him to relegation opposition. Most people on here have respect for him using words like "legend or hero" but how would you honestly feel if he scored the winning goal on the final day which kept his new side up and got us relegated? Maybe it’s not very likely but it could happen! That’s why I understand LCFC attitude on not selling him to just any team.

 

Yes i can appreciate the stance LCFC are taking by not selling to a relegation rival unlike us who have just sold PVA to Palace.
The offer was just too good to turn down (14m for PVA) and we needed the money to bring in new faces.
LCFC are not in such dire needs as we are and may well hold out and not sell just to ensure that we have to rely on Defoe for the rest of the season.

 

If you get him you will be getting a thoroughly honest hard working professional who is very good in the air both attacking and defensively ... I think he'd be a good foil for Defoe tbh. Can't blame him for wanting to play but this does all sniff of poor agent 'advice'

 

I would be very happy with the lad, it could well be the agent stirring things up as well but it does look like Leo isn't to impressed himself.
Just said on our board that it will be interesting to see how things pan out during the course of the day.
Is Ranieri just holding out for more money as he knows how desperate we are?

 

In the summer we rejected £9M from Swansea so we always valued him highly.

 

i can imagine the price being higher obviously because we are so desperate and its coming to the end of the window, just over 12 hours to go in this little saga.

 

You would need to pay the full asking price - Galatasaray are sniffing around and apparently we would be willing to accept a lower offer from them then strengthen a rival.
