Not really. Pearson said a couple of weeks ago there won't be many additions. i don't think business is over, but I don't think they'll be any more than two.

Scott Sinclair wage demands would be miles too high and he has hardly played for about 3 years
Jon Walters would be a good addition short term like GTF was but nothing long term

Hull have made an offer of around £10M for Jordan Rhodes

If Nigel wants another striker i would much rather get Rhodes then Deeney

 

Rhodes has to be the most over rated player in the division.

He's an excellent poacher, and I mean almost perfect.

But he really doesn't do anything. He just sits in the box and takes his chances. He doesn't create, he doesn't work, he doesn't run, he doesn't pass.... Whereas players like Deeney create goals for themselves and are much more valuable to the team.


I don't think Rhodes is a luxury that Hull can afford, especially now they've sold Long.

 

He doesn't have to do anything, we have other players that do all of that already. It's having somebody sit in the box and stick them in the net that's needed. Plus that's bollocks anyway, from what I saw last season he drops deep numerous times to start moves off. He's hardly over-rated, he's probably the best striker outside the Premier League.

He's exactly the type of player we need, we have pace in Sagbo, Aluko and Ince. What we need is a finisher.

Would this end up as an embargo or would they just be forced to pay? I don't know how it works

 

They will be asked to pay and set a deadline. If the deadline passes without payment then a transfer embargo would be placed by the Premier League/FA

They will sort it as it's only 1M and they have 12M from the Long sale

 

Yeah that's what I thought, unless an embargo was put straight on they'll sort it

I think its more down to poor management then lack of wonga

 

We sent the money to the wrong place, it was supposed to go to Scotland but we sent it to the PL (it counts as international not domestic). They've now recieved the money.

Also, Sol Bamba has just signed for Palermo on a 3 year deal.
