he meant it Chalobah & what a finish from Moses. Will do world of good. My 2-0 predo up in the air do I mind? hell no.
Nothing to moan about today!,great third goal.Thought Alonso was the best i've seen him. So good to see the youngsters involved.COYB'S
"Solid defending, real width, 3 beautiful goals, 3 academy products, comprehensive victory - pinch me, Antonio!". Sets us up nicely for the big game next week.
Who,d ever have thought it. Youth and experience blending brilliantly. Conte has got everything right today, and his players are playing for the team. Luiz, Moses, Alonso are showing they are all very good players and the kids have stepped up. Not going over the top, but surely we've had a glimpse of the future today.
Any thoughts from you lads on him refusing to take Costa off, is he trying to make him more responsible for his actions as in "you know you are on a last yellow so control yourself" or is he just showing him who's the boss? Maybe he is saying "I trust you to behave" ?
Well I was gonna say, Costa played the entire 90, scored a goal, didn't get booked, and didn't do anything controversial like stamp or eye gouge anybody, so I am classing that as progress
Well, maybe it was a test. Like he was seeing if Costa could restrain himself, knowing a yellow would mean a one game ban.
Great preformance and tempo, when this happens it makes things possible. Hope we play like this against Jose.
Leicester's agony on the road did continue. As the current Champions they looked totally lacklustre, or was it because we were so good and made them look that way? David Luiz was immense and he had Vardy under his control all game. Kante - superb, Moses - superb, Costa - superb. Even though Courtois was taking the "you're shit ahhhh" abuse from the Leicester fans even he managed to keep a clean sheet. I don't remember Leicester having a shot on target. Great game, great result - Chelsea are back !!!!! 'ello 'ello.
My sentiments exactly; a refreshing change to utilise the resources at our disposal instead of throwing money at has-beens....bravo Conte!
I get the idea that Claudio Ranieri and his players are concentrating on the European Cup. For us it has to be the upcoming game that is Jose Mourinho's Manchester United. A few seasons ago Samuel Eto got a hat-trick against them, now it's Diego Costa's turn to do the same. I bet Diego will be well up for that.
