Good Morning Everyone, and Happy New Year.

I trust you all had a good one!

Following our disappointing 1-1 draw at Villa Park on Thursday, its comforting to know that the rest of the pack have not taken advantage of our slip up.

Huddersfield, Derby and the Wendies all drew as well.

We remain 2 points from 3rd place, though Reading and Brighton both have a game in hand.

Rotherham on the other hand remain rooted to the bottom of the Championship, 11 points from safety.

As we all know, local derbies can throw up some unusual results. Let's hope the result follows the form guide

Leeds are expecting a sell out crowd for their first game in 2017. If you want a ticket, you better be quick!

Leeds must decide whether to recall leading scorer Wood and Hernandez. Both have been used as second half substitutes against Villa.

Monk also needs to decide whether to drop Phillips (who had a poor game v Villa) in favour of Viera.

It is not known whether Taylor and O'Kane are fit to return.

Tickets arrived on Friday and I have a very excited 13 year old on my hands. First time I have bought a junior ticket and it was £16 which, compared to, say the cinema I thought was really good value (especially after being ripped off for sweets, snacks and watery Pepsi). When we leave a film we may talk about it for half an hour and then it is gone. I know tomorrow will be a lifetime memory for him and, in all likelihood the start of the same love affair I have had for over 40 years!

It is fair to say it may have already begun, he very proudly told me last night that 7 of his Fifa 17 team are Leeds players :emoticon-0100-smile

Afternoon all and and best wishes for 2017.

Only a few tickets left for home fans so just thought I'd let people know that Rotherham fans can pay cash on the day. Last reports were they had sold 250 of their 1,487 allocation.

We'll need to be on our toes tomorrow. As Monk said we are not good enough to be anything less than 100%.

Not expecting Taylor or O'Kane to be risked. Next League game is 13th Jan so hopefully they will both be back by then.

Thought we were fantastic second half at Villa but I'd make 3 changes for tomorrow. Bartley, Vieira and Wood in with Cooper, Phillips and Dallas dropping to the bench. Think Phillips will benefit from a couple of matches out of the firing line, just to sharpen up mentally if anything.

South East lower. Should have time for a pint before the game if you fancy but it will depend on traffic and how long he wants to spend in the shop!! Already after a tracksuit top and scarf and I certainly won't restrict him - making it my job to spread the LUFC gospel to kids in sleepy Suffolk :emoticon-0148-yes:

Can't argue with any of that except I think Dallas' work rate helps to wear teams down so he may get the first hour. Here's hoping for a fantastic atmosphere, big win and a Derby loss to open up a bit of a gap before we play them in a couple of weeks time

Hope it goes well for you and your boy. A win in front of a packed ER and hopefully he's hooked like the rest of us.

I've had a bit of a struggle to maintain my son's interest the last couple of seasons as the football has been so poor whenever he's been. At least he accepts he's Leeds as I couldn't bear it if he started making noises about supporting any other team.

Not a bad idea about Dallas.

Then bring Doukara and Hernandez on for the last half hour to add a bit of pace and quality.

Ok matey will do. Did you go when we hammered Huddersfield 4-0 (think it was the -15 point season)? Another day like that would be just perfect :emoticon-0148-yes:

On another note, if you can use your corporate contacts to get me a ticket or two for Cambridge next week it will be gratefully received as it is right on my doorstep. Got a couple of friends with kids in the Cambridge academy and suddenly they want to go and have no spares - we're not famous any more <whistle>

I'm rather hoping we are out of sight with half an hour to go and Hernandez can strut his stuff & hopefully, Roofe can have some room to show what a player he should be :emoticon-0148-yes:
