Yeah, the same 3 scored against them on Boxing Day too. Mighty was right about one thing though, the game was over by half time. <laugh>

Anyone else completely unable to watch any football on the telly after Leeds get beat, even PL/foreign, or is it only me? Just can't stand the idea of anyone else winning.

One of the best days I've had for a long while

Brilliant atmosphere, makes Readings reference library atmosphere a joke. Thought Preston were up for it and looked good for 10 minutes. Then we took control, defence started to function and the longer it went the more confident I was, that said, I was bloody relieved when goal no 2 went in

In second half we defended a bit too deep imho but it all worked out

Hernandez adds a dimension and also has Oscar level acting capabilities, liked the look of Phillips today, 2 full backs were immense especially Ayling

Chatting with the guys after it would be difficult to name a man of the match, no-one was a 10 but there were no 6's either. Really good all round team performance. Both full backs were excellent and, if you didn't know the players you would never have known the combined age of our central midfield was under 40!

Disallowed goal was very odd. Ref didn't blow for offside and Lino did not flag. Their keeper went potty and the ref went to the linesman to consult. Was totally convinced it would be given because of no flag and then he disallows it. It was almost like the ref suspected it was offside (it looked it) so gave it on a hunch.

Good atmosphere and great game (Preston are decent) and great to see a few of the guys again - top men. Day was only spoiled a bit by some nutter in a battered old merc having a bit of road rage with us as we left the ground. Even sat giving us the evils for cutting him up and then the big pair of Scottish shoulders in a Leeds shirt started heaving up and down with uncontrollable laughter when he realised we were all having a drink together 5 minutes before <laugh>

Ahem! I knew it was you all along. Was just using the horn to see if it would waken you up. You mate's a bit of a slow driver. Did you eventually get home? :D

I got home, picked up the missus to get the Sunday lunch shopping, then sat down to my curry on the couch. Abot 9pm, I shut my eyes for a moment, then it was 06:30! Tbh, I had a feeling it would happen. Got sunburnt watching the match. Didn't anticipate it, so no factor 50 & no hat. Pillock that I am!

Your driver should always carry a tyre lever in his door pocket. Best solution for tackling celts with road rage. I guess the cruise didnt chill jocks beans much...

Not at all. The slip road onto the motorway is always a nice challenge. Target is wrong lane & 100mph minimum, but the old bus doesn't quite hit the ton quick enough these days. Marcos's driver seems more suited to a golf buggy. :D

Theres every chance we will get Yorkshires finest and biggest in the playoffs again so would think pre season we would line up teams that can at least give us a game <ok>
