Top of the table Huddersfield are the visitors to Elland Road this weekend. The dog botherer's have beaten Wolves, Barnsley, Newcastle and Brenford, all by a solitary goal, and have drawn at Villa.

Apart from the St James Park result, the others seem less impressive.

Leeds will hopefully have Pontius fit. He was an unused sub for Sweden against Holland midweek.

It will be interesting to see if O'Kane goes straight in to the starting XI on Saturday or whether Monk will persist on Viera.

Monk will know he will have to play two strikers up front, so will probably have to revert to the 4/4/2 formation.

If so, Bridcutt is a guaranteed start, and you'd assume Hernendez is too, so out of the 18 midfielders we have, which other two does Monk start with?

Morning, this will be a toughie as I had them down for top 6 before season started due to manager and signings. I still think that man for man we are better, just need our manager to show knockers why he got the job. Going to be a huge test and a huge game for both sides, and hopefully we will stop them in their tracks.

Owners: Hoyle v Cellino = Hoyle by a mile as he doesnt have the clout or finances of many but puts his hand in his pocket for the team. A Steve Gibson type who love their club whatever. Cellino may have turned a corner and doing the same now, but we can only hope. Chippy may be right in a couple of games time, if we lose the next 2 Cellino may revert to nutjob

Really looking forward to Saturday's match. International breaks are too long and IMO Championship clubs should be given the opportunity to play a fixture providing both clubs agree.

Four home games before the end of the month so we'll know where we stand pretty quickly.

I dont think Monk will be sacked when you lose to Huddersfield Cellino has changed and trying to do things the English way so i think he will give him at least until Christmas

 

I really hope we go for 4-2-3-1 formation. We have the players for that formation. If we go 4-4-2 I expect to see Viera play again.

I also think we should try sign sessegnon who's available for free for the left side

 

Maybe not Chirpy, but if we do loose then the writing maybe on the wall by end of September, I hope he does not because I think Monk has brought some quality in, just need to settle them in and a settled formation, lets see.
