For anyone brave enough, the goals etc from yesterday (Can I suggest you switch off or mute it with 1m 10sec left on the timer
As do Bassong, Bennett, Turner, Mulumbu and if we can get Louis Thompson fit and ready, so too Alex Tettey. Harsh but very, very true
Although I still believe Naismith was a massive waste of transfer money and wages he seems to be putting in a performance lately. Great goal and work rate, I can only assume that at his age he knows that this is his best chance at regular football and a possibility of promotion next season. Going to Sunderland would not have been such a great move. I was one of his harshest critics but he seems to have turned a corner for whatever reason but still failed to live up to his reputation like a few others .
Agreed DD and I think I said something similar after we beat Brighton, as the way he laid the ball back for AP to just hammer it against the upright for the second OG was sublime.
Blimey Charlie!! Right that's me off! You'll never hear from me again after that KIO!! P.S. Why do you always have a ready supply of these pictures?!
Back on topic - looks like Basil wants to stay at CR and play his part next season - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...y-for-the-carrow-road-battles-ahead-1-4996853
Irvine's comments on Leeds' first goal on Saturday - "City can score beautiful goals but they concede at a charitable rate. You realise it is bad when even the normally composed, mild- mannered Alan Irvine is enraged by what unfolded in a matter of seconds between Nelson Oliveira’s second goal and the way Chris Wood nonchalantly glided inside Mitchell Dijks to divert Stuart Dallas’ cross past John Ruddy." The second was laughable too - or it would have been if it were anyone but NCFC Suggests, despite much improvement with more involvement (durr!) Pritchard still has some work to do on the defensive side of his game
Captain Positivo ^^^ And at least we won't pick up any Injuries having to play another 3 games after the regular season ends.
And we can start on the task of recruiting/weaning out players starting next Monday, as opposed to having to wait until the end of May!!!
Even I didn't think of that one DD! It must be catching! To me, that is one of the advantages of missing out on the play-offs, though I don't know how much 'recruiting/weaning out players' will take place until we have a new HC. More likely that SW will have options ready once the HC is in.
I would tell all the players that we don't want anymore that they will be transfer listed or released and not to bother coming back after their summer break.
I know SW has said that he hopes to name his HC in a couple of weeks, so let's hope he's as good as his word!!
