And the Pošip wine. Got room for a case or two in your hand luggage?

I was only joking gandy. <laugh>
How did you know that???? <cheers>
Went on a wine tasting today and ALL of their wine is made from the Pošip grape. I've managed to find space for ONE bottle in my suitcase - maximum liquid allowed in hand luggage is 100ml!!!

PS - back on topic - I was very impressed with Basil's interview after today's game.
I hope you've listened to it DD, as he mentioned his red card that cost us or RIGHTFUL place in the play-offs!! <laugh>

Anyone recall the days when our (KIO's) MDTs used to get 150 - 200+ responses?
Struggle to reach 100 these days which is a travesty considering the time he puts in <applause>

I think that's reflective of how the forum (and probably not606 as a whole) has lost members over time. There was the big influx after BBC 606 closed, but since then we've lost people to feuds, disinterest, etc, and recruitment hasn't matched it. Unlike BBC 606 you don't stumble across our corner of the internet via comments highlighted in match reports, etc. I'd be interested to know how anyone who joined post-2011 found us, because I can't think how I would!

KIO does sterling work with these threads, and I'd love to see them get the audience they deserve.

I think it's also that most of us are feeling the end of a disappointing season, as the MTs were much more active when we were still in with a chance of at least the play-offs.

Your efforts are certainly much appreciated KIO and it's like having an on-line programme for each match and the interplay during the matches enriches the games themselves. <cheers>

Thanks for all the kind comments lads, I must admit that I was thinking of calling it a day after this season, but I enjoy putting these threads together and I've been working on something new for next year just to freshen things up a bit.

I mostly follow the matches on the BBC text thread but flip between that and 606 to see your reactions. As has been said, online attendance seems well down on that of a few years ago. Anyway, keep up the excellent work KIO, it is certainly most appreciated by us all. Thank you sir.

I think that's a bit hard Cromer. For us it was a meaningless match, but for them it meant everything, especially with Fulham only drawing at home. We scored 3 good goals against a defence that looked even more wobbly than our own. They got one back with a pinpoint cross on the run and a perfectly timed volley by Woods into the net. Dijks was covering, but on the wrong side as he's coming in from LB (Whittaker was heavily criticised for the same situation against Rotherham). The second, bundled in goal, was due to Pritchard failing to deal with the ball on the line after it hit him and dropped at his feet. Ironically he had cleared off the line earlier in a similar situation. My guess is that AI wants him positioned there because of his quick feet, but it just didn't work on that occasion. The third goal was just a perfect free-kick after Dorrans conceded what looked to be a soft foul on the edge of the box. All of us know that we'll need at least 3 new quality defenders next year (4-5 if Klose and or Dijks leave) and a new DM as well. That is what we should be focusing on.

The last time I posted boobies I offended a long time poster and he disappeared without trace.
It was a rather flattering image of the gorgeous Kelly Brook in sexy underwear and suspenders.
I'll leave that image for your imagination FML ;)

I was going to analyse how many games we have been in a winning position to go on and drop points by drawing or losing then crunch the data to see how many times we did a Lambert to score late on to grab victory from the jaws of defeat .
Compile a bar chart line graph or pie chart to show how many points we have thrown away and where we might finish in the table had we not been so generous defensively.
Put in a special category for set pieces goalkeeper mistakes and defensive errors.
    But I can't be ****ed.<laugh>
