TOMLIN BID ACCEPTED A bit of breaking news for you this evening. Sky sources are telling us that Bournemouth have accepted an undisclosed bid from Bristol City for striker Lee Tomlin. The 27-year-old scored six goals in 18 games for the Championship club on a loan spell there last season, impressing enough for City to consider a permanent switch. Tomlin only joined Bournemouth last summer, but appears to be heading for the exit door after failing to hold down a first-team place. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...istol-city-bid-for-lee-tomlin-say-sky-sources
what is he on a week though? £12,000 or more ? should we get an average of 16,500 gate can we afford such luxury! I guess we might have to
This should keep the doom and Gloomers happy. But will wait and see if Tomlin accepts the wages offered. Remember a few years back with Akos Buszaky rumoured to be joining.
This is not how City usually do their business, have Bournemouth or an agent leaked this to start other interest
Do you know I felt the same way about Trundle but Lee Tomlin really is the real deal, there is magic in them there legs..
should Kodija train on, with a couple of good supply players and maybe another forward to play along side we could be in for 65 goal season? and what exactly is GARITA? ... besides being one of 4 forwards ...
Different gravy,as said i would pay just to watch him grace Ashton Gate. If it happens he will become one of the legends to play at the gate. Also will bring more quality to the gate.
One of the great players that have graced the Ashton Gate pitch in all my years of watching by beloved Bristol City, please sign him on & I will buy all my mates a pint...hang on I aint got any!
Take this with a pinch of salt, he's hardly going to go on Twatter and admit that he's asking for more money, always easier to blame the club you are negotiating with.
That could be equally the same for Tomln as well though. Isn't his shouting from the rooftops on Twatter the reason why he was sent out on loan? I can't see after chasing a player for so long, contract waiting to be signed and then us turning round and saying sorry we said 10 grand not 15 grand.
