Lee Johnson has landed the LG Performance of the Week award from the League Managers Association. It comes after his City side demolished Huddersfield Town 4-0 at Ashton Gate before the international break. The LMA's five-man panel, comprising chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry, has determined that the LG Performance of the Week Award should go to City. The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of over 6,000 competitive matches in professional football. Johnson will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and a LG Performance of the Week trophy in a Sky Sports presentation to commemorate the result. Lee Tomlin, Tammy Abraham, Aden Flint and David Cotterill all scored in the rout.
yes they have taken out the seats they had as ST'S to allow the people in the row behind more room a small plaque on the floor says RR was here ..
Sounds appropriate to recognize his service as a leading supporter and I hope Lee gets a contract extension to go with his champers.
I wonder how much of that win was down to the horror injury suffered by Hogg. It upset and disrupted Huddersfield's game. Not taking away from a good performance - we were good, but I just wonder if Hogg had stayed on the pitch would we have won by 4?
Are you saying Huddlesfield are a one man team? Players are used to players going off injured and the actual injury would of probably affected all 22 players on the pitch. That result was noting to do with one player going off injured but down to our players playing to their best
