I have my appointment with the consultant orthopaedic surgeon next Tuesday morning. I had the low-down on him from a recent knee replacement person who goes in the Cheese (thick as ****). He says he's really good, but is extremely arrogant and is vehemently anti-smoking. Mind you, this bloke would think anyone with more than one neuron was arrogant. It should be an interesting meeting, but I have it all mapped out, following the recent business with the bites and the various tests that I underwent, all of which were absolutely fine.

Mind you, I'll make ****ing sure I don't upset him. After all, he'll be the one with the scalpel, saw, hammer and chisel in his hands - not all at the same time, I hope
