Laird's been recalled for tonight, hopefully as a bench warmer. No other new injuries apparently, so hopefully he'll go with the same team as Friday.
Still think we should have signed another attacking midfielder to cover for Del Boy. Although I don't rate Laird he is the only other attacking central midfielder we have in our squad.Schofield might be able to do a job there though if he loses his place to Bouazza on the left wing when he is fit to play.
ahh great , we need to get some money for Laird when eventually sold just to make his whole Millwall spell worthwhile...
Unbelievable he is still on our books. Get Grimes back and try him in midfield even as Laird is not up to this level.
He couldn't be any worse than Laird and you know you'll get commitment from Grimes - he's apparently out of contract at the end of this season so will be interesting to see what happens but I think we already know though given that he's been allowed to go elsewhere!
Maybe Laird has been playing well for Brentford. After playing 4 games for them he should be match fit. Eastmond is young and maybe KJ sees Laird as another option. But he will definatly go at the end of the season.
It would be unfair to bring Grimes back and not play him. Think he could be one of our four main strikers alongside Morrison, Mcquoid and Robinson. Always room for a poacher in the squad.
