  2. As I, and several other Spurs fans have said, we would prefer him not to leave, but if Levy does decide to let him go there will be a good reason for it, and we will get top dollar as he still have a while to go on this contract.

Of all the positions that we can most afford to let ride in a transfer window, it's RB or RWB. Astute footy fans will have noticed that that Poch hasn't played Walker for quite a few games, but that hasn't stopped us from smashing teams.

I know that this is going to be a favourite topic for a certain type of poster to trying to use as leading-wum material, but it's completely pointless!

  4. How much of that was down to the new stadium, and how much of it was down to the fact that Wenger is, in fact, a very ordinary manager?

Wenger used the "new stadium" excuse for several seasons.

If Spurs settle into theirs with ease, we'll all know the answer.

  5. It won't be the first time Levy has done that.

    The wums forget this.

Personally i think its more cringeworthy that you boys are having a Sausage party over us losing a player.

  9. I take it as a massive compliment, Bruv.

The Chelsea lads scoff and crow about how insignificant we are as a club, and yet you just know that they would rub themselves (both individually and mutually) raw if we were forced to sell any of our top talent at the wrong end of a transfer request!

  13. Just because you have a little song about Spurs being "bottlers" doesn't make it true.

    What have we "bottled" exactly?

  15. It's the kind of thing that fans from a club with a small-club mentality would do!

    exactly, hes replaceable.

Trippier lacks the pace, everything else is +1 over Kyle.

City falling for the same old trick the Pool fooled them with by selling them someone very fast and brainless.

Chelsea pooing themselves at the thought of getting found out when they get extra games to juggle next year so they try to sell half our squad <laugh>

For Spurs 2017, read Arsenal 2007

    Play good football
    lots of talented players
Talk a big game but never win trophies.
2 or 3 players away from winning but always 2-3 players away because will allways sell best players
Cannot offer players the trophies or money their ability warrants so they end up leaving
Delude themselves than a new stadium is a panacea when it is in fact a drop in ocean compared to commercial revenue
