This is from the nbc link, but I haven't had a chance to check the others or indeed read this one properly: Krueger also confirmed that Saints’ “next dream is some face-lifting and upgrading” of St Mary’s and that the size of the stadium will remain the same for the time being, while he also lauded their commercial growth. http://soccer.nbcsports.com/2017/05/16/ralph-krueger-on-southampton-taking-the-next-step/
We have needed to sell when players enter their final year of contract and won't sign a new one. If someone came in with an offer of £60 million for VVD the club would be silly to not at least consider it, regardless how good a player he is.
QUOTE: "Katharina’s motivation has always been since I met her and we started this project four years ago to drive this club forward and do what it takes to get there. We are quite confident that some form of investment if you look at the competition and the teams around us and they grow and develop and don’t sleep or rest on their laurels, it’s just a natural progression for a club like Southampton. Her interest to stay in the game and be part of it is very high. She loves the club right up there with anything in her life, and has been really clear on only accepting a step that will culturally fit the club". Just fluff and bluster with no element of truth then?
i would cash in on Virgil and **** off to the Bahamas for the rest of my life and just watch saints on sky instead (if i owned the club)
The virtual cameraman was obviously standing on top of the gasworks (actually a gasometer - pedantic? Moi?)
Shock horror. Workers say "what the **** do they do all day" about a Board. That happens at most companies
My very thought as I was scanning this thread. There is one problem. As we do better, we will eventually consistently do better. Then we will be expected to do better. Which means that if we occasionally fail to do better, which will be just as often, the harder it gets... the more we'll see of CBK.
Lots of fluff there. Truth is best written with the power of hindsight. We will see what happens in the coming months. But even if it all goes as Kruger says, 20% ownership of a football club gets you no say in how it's run. She will walk away from Saints with more money than she or her father have put in. I don't have a problem with that, it makes business sense. I'd rather see some straight talking than this "fluff"
