You're alright now but when your chest bursts open don't come looking for sympathy.

I used to go round my mates farm shooting things with usually an air rifle or sometimes his rimfire rifle or shotgun. With the exception of pigeons, which must all die a horrible death, I wasn't arsed about killing, it's about hitting an unpredictable target. There's only so much fun you can have shooting a bullseye or some spinning motorised target. Taking a bird out of the sky or a rabbit zig zagging through long grass at 100 mph takes skill and is an achievement.

If anything I'd actually be quite sad about killing things, again with the exception of pigeons, but it was fun.

I think that's what video games are for.

I think it's weird as **** to actively enjoy the killing of a bird or rabbit.

You should try it. Sometimes it doesn't die in one shot and you can grab it by the wings and rip it in half. And have you ever seen the mess when you put one in a chop saw?

Wonder why they didn't put him out of his misery as they did the lion?

The sad thing is that the lion was executed whereas he wasn't.

Stuff like this winds me up (not just this case) if you don't agree with it are offended by something that's on a TV channel, TV show, internet page, film etc..... Don't watch it! It's not illegal and some people do for whatever reason enjoy it and follow big game hunting, it's a subscription channel so let those who want to subscribe subscribe.....

Glad it's been taken off tv. Let's face it if you feel the need to go out with a big gun and end the life of a lion/tiger/elephant etc then you're obviously a bit of a twat. A coward to boot. If you're that big of a man then put the gun down and make it a fair fight. No? Yeah thought not.
