Would you take Klopp as your manager?

He did a very good job with Mainz leading them into the top division for the first time and even qualified for European competition, though ultimately saw the team relegated and moved on. Then did an incredible job at Dortmund including back to back league titles and a CL final, until his final season which saw him fail (given expectations) in the league ending in 7th but still reach a cup final.

Since joining Liverpool he is yet to achieve anything of substance but has lead them to two cup finals including a Europa league final and looks set to improve on there previous league position, possibly even securing CL football for the club.

I hadn't realised how many finals he has failed to win until looking him up just now! He could have had a much larger trophy haul on top of an impressive managerial career.

So if he wanted to come to your club would you take him as manager?

Comes over as a nice guy but I suspect that he's a whinnying bitch with no plan B. Big improvement on the last three managers.

Juries out for me. He had a good period in Germany and then almost got Dortmund relegated.

Once others have had more time to completely figure out his thinking and the way he likes to play, and then work on countering it, we'll see if he's a one trick pony or not.

Don't particularly like him but he's clearly a brilliant manager.

He's turned Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana into world beaters so he's doing something right.

He's got comfortably the worst squad (on paper) in the top 6 yet Liverpool are second favourites to win the league behind Chelsea.

He's a very good manager, but it still remains to be seen how he'll cope when inevitably they hit a bad patch.

He's got meltdown written all over him.

Love the fact that he is in the PL, he is a real character and fun to watch his interviews.
As for his performances as a manager, he did well to keep Dortmund as competitive as they were, for such a long time, with such a disadvantage compared to Bayern. (Until Dortmund went to ****)
And he has been slowly improving Liverpool since he joined, so all in all, I have to say he looks pretty decent.
Would I take him as Chelsea manager? No, but only because we have Tony in charge, who has done an excellent job.
Would I have taken him after we sacked Jose? Yeah!

This. He's let the mask slip on the odd occasion but he will boil over at some point. He's a ticking time-meltdown-bomb.

    Agree with this too.
On paper their squad is far worse than ours, Uniteds, Citys, Arsenals and Spurs.
They have no out and out goalscorer, but their whole team seems to pitch in.
Other than Mane and Coutinho, I don't really rate many of their players at all.
But players like Henderson, Firmino and Lallana have really stepped up this season....Lovren too.

Was hoping that he might come to Arsenal, but that ship has sailed. I reckon given another couple of transfer windows, he could really develop that Liverpool team into title challengers. At the moment, they play some good attacking football, but they are soft as **** at the back.

Klopp seems to be a very likable bloke and he comes across very well in his pre/post match conferences. Only trouble is he is slowly but surely making Liverpool better.Same applies to conte and bilic, another 2 likeable lads who are unfortunately in charge of two detestable teams.

Love how conte barely whispers in his interviews but is a madman on the touchline and apparently in the dressing room as well. His players used to call the dressing room at juve 'cape canavearal' because he used to throw so much stuff about!!

I don't think there any doubt that Klopp if capable of losing it, I'm sure it'll be a very entertaining moment.
