The only player scoring consistantly for any CAFC team is Kennedy soooo what do we do ...Ioan him out to Derry City . He should be on the bench for our first team at least and given his chance rather than be plying his trade in the equivalent of conference south . Bloody madness but being the joke our club has become I'm not surprised .
From what I have seen/heard he is not good enough, but nobody in the first team has done much so he probably did deserve another chance.
I'm not sure he will make it from the little i've seen, but as he's scoring for fun and we aren't, he was deserving of an opportunity.
The consensus on social media today from those who have seen him Is that he isn't good enough. I don't think Hanlon is, either. We should have signed a proven goalscorer in January - goals get you promotion. There is always a chance that Lee Novak will shed half a stone and start scoring.
Mr Robinson said during the transfer window that with all these top class youngsters we don't need to buy more players...music to Roland's ears and scripted by him too
there will come a point where our good luck with youngsters will run out and roly will put pressure on our youth coaches/setup. we'll then see the same sort of turn over that we do with the first team manager. KM will spout sh1t about it being the right decision every time. i actually thought that lookman coming through was the worst thing that could happen to us. as long as someone comes through once a year, keeping us profitable, RD will stick about as he's not losing money. my fear is that the only way out of this whole mess is for RD to fall off his perch. but rich pr1cks have good medicare so that might not be for a while unfortunately.
Koeman lavishes praise on Lookman today. Says from what he's seen he is "the future of the club" and that he's not surprised by his bright start as he see's what he's capable of in training every day. But it's ok. We're due to break even in the next few years.
