Sutton reserve keeper was shown eating a pie in last nights game (he's 46 and nearly 20st) But it appears it could have been bent http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39037401
If his mates all bet on the exact minute he was gonna eat the pie, I think it might all come on top!...
The S*n have said they've paid out a 5 figure sum to one punter. I think he's in the **** for this like, as he's admitted he knew about it. Albeit the bookies were as dumb as **** for offering the bet.
The bookies are immensely stupid they offered skimpy odds of only 1000/1 on Sutton winning the FA Cup. If they'd wanted to make more mug money they should have offered 20,000/1. Maybe they were still smarting from Leicesters 5000/1
Oh, the poor bookies, my heart bleeds for them oh wait, no it doesn't, they're a load of parasitical ****ers.
Can't disagree with that. But whatever possessed them to start laying odds on an amateur, 46 yr old, 20 st. keeper eating a pie? It's asking for it!...
It was Sun Bets offering the bet at 8-1, and they were sponsoring Sutton last night... I imagine they asked him to do it, and potentially greased the wheels in order to get him to do it. Lots of advertising for a betting site I never knew existed!
Hence why it is being investigated by the FA and the Gambling Commission! Imagine he will get a ban and the bookies a fine...
well, I gotta go see my MP soon, luckily I live the right side of the road to be with labour, I think I may bring it up as I loathe Murdoch, Trump is the poster-boy, Murdoch is the master.
He's resigned and Sutton have accepted it. Shame, Sutton don't deserve this sort of press. The Sun, as usual, are the ones that have cocked up.
Probably more to do with unprofessional behavior (aka; eating a pie during a professional match) than the being allegations
Probably their own money and given to a mate of his to place, and if he did it, there's his payment for their publicity stunt.
I'm glad he's got caught I don't think he's got good table manners. Eats like a pig, can't stand a person who doesn't have etiquette when it comes to eating.
