What do people think of the new branding?

Nothing wrong with the old one, it's a daft move...

Getting a bit of stick on Twitter for it. Seems a strange move.

The new one's quite smart, just that it could be a logo for absolutely anything. The old one (which does look a little old-fashioned) at least looks like a proper 'football club' logo.

Ridiculous innit? Again, why do people think fans in new markets will engage cos of a brand? They support a team because of what they see on the pitch or what the club stands for off it. It's hardly like they're struggling with 11million fans in Italy alone...

It looks like there's part of it missing. Not a fan myself. The original was a fairly basic logo anyway. Now it just looks like a half finished logo.

It's on the shirt where the new badge really falls down...

They need a shorter name like Juventus Penne

    Then they'll go global...

That does look awful. Couldn't they have removed the black crest and just had the white logo against the black stripe of the kit?

    That's ****.

And it clashes with the J on the sponsor logo.

Appallingly bad. Although I do suspect in future years they'll have just the black logo on the white stripe and have shirts designed with this in mind.

Also this is just very strange timing, why do this mid-season? And if they simply have to do it mid-season, why not the obvious point of the winter break? Is completely bizarre to bring it out this week.

I'm sure Juventus employ better marketing professionals than your good self.

I'm sure they do considering I've never done a day in marketing in my life.

That badge suggests otherwise to be fair.

The badge will have been designed by the plumber.

looks like some bright spark with a degree in marketing has decided that they need to restyle the badge in the current vogue and managed to sell it to the club. how they did that I can't understand. the current badge has class and style. it doesn't need changing.

the new one makes them look like JD Sports.
