To be fair, the ring has been 'upgraded' 3 times now. It would have been cheaper to get married 11 years ago and to go through a messy divorce and pay her maintenance for the rest of her life....
Take it from me, it wouldn't have been. Just received the latest legal bill for finalising the divorce. This instalment was "only" £14k and I've finally got the decree absolute. You could by a **** of a lot of jewellery for that!
That sounds perfect. When it gets warmer, I'll definitely suggest that. She wanted to do something... inside this week. But then last week we were outside for the day. We already have lots of plans for when it's warmer... Going to Alton Towers, a picnic (I know you suggested with soup but... it was freaking cold last weekend and I hate soup) and a trip to Warwick Castle. She was happy when I suggested that as she'd never been.
https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/new...man-describes-long-harrowing-journey-justice/ Woman wins damages against 2 footballers, inc. Goodwillie of Plymouth, for rape after it was decided not to take the case to a criminal court. She decided to waive anonymity in order that they shouldn't get away with it. Civil courts require less evidence..but you have to seek damages in place of seeing the guilty put away.
I saw this earlier. Taking away whether they did it or not, I have to say I'm not comfortable with people being labelled as rapists without all the evidence being put before a judge and jury. They may be guilty but this just isn't the right way for me. Not blaming her at all more the system. I wonder why it wasn't taken to a criminal court.
Greet with a kiss on the cheek? I'd have to be feeling particularly daring just to greet with a hug haha (curse my social anxiety)
Swallow your social anxiety and go for the hug, then. You have nothing to lose. Ladies like being hugged by blokes they like.
Last time I saw her, I actually asked her if I minded that I hugged her just before we parted, she said yes. Later on she texted me and said thanks for the hug and she hopes for more. So that's good at least!
What flt says. From what you've said mate she sounds as shy as you and is almost certainly waiting for you to make the first move etc. I'd say definitely go for the kiss mate, she'll love it. It will also help you both relax and release the anxiety/tension. Don't ask though, just do!!
First date with the current Mrs Onionman, Valentine's Day came up: "I might buy a girl flowers but it'll be because I care, not because it's a particular day of the year." Saved me a fortune. Vin
