Joshua Vs Klitschko

I'm amazed he survived those 2 rounds. He wont last many more. Joshua has no legs and wont block anymore. Never seen him like this.

 

Only hope for him is that he's been able to recover a little. He needs to build now and be at least level next round. Otherwise he's left looking desperately for a knockout and I'm not sure he's got that.

 

Better in the 8th, needs to get stronger again though.

 

Klitschko has been unreal. I can't believe he has been out so long and is 41. He looks amazing.

 

Rocked once in the 5th, but you'd never tell now. In such good shape! I think Joshua needs the last 3 rounds.

 

His defence is no way near the first few rounds. He's slower and less reactive.

Wilder in the commentary box absolutely does not want the "reunification fight" with Joshua

 

Amazed that 2/3 judges scorecards had Joshua clear ahead before the 11th, if the 11th and 12th were like the 8-10th, Klitschko would have been robbed.

 

Insane. My GF has never watched Boxing before, and she said Klitschko was winning on points before the knockout.

Would have been a travesty if it went to the judges. How the hell do you score Joshua 3 up? They were pretty even until the 5th, which Joshua took probably 10-8, but Klitschko probably took the 6th 10-8, and every round after that.

 

Before the final round, I probably would have given Josh 2. 3 at the most.

 

Seems a real shame that after such a good fight, Joshua will lose at least 1, if not 2 belts regardless of who he fights next. Pulev and Ortiz are mandatory fights for two of the belts, and I don't think Joshua wants to bother fighting either next.

What a fight, this fight reminded of the boxing matches of the late 90's, these last 2 fights haye\bellow and Josh\Klitch the refs have really let them fight to death, just how i remember the the big fights back when boxing its best in the late 90's early 00's.

We where spoilt back then with several big fights every year, i kind of lost interest when the refs kept stopping the fights for next to nothing, boxing appears to be back at its best and i cant wait to see Josh fight Fury, its got to happen if fury can sort his head out.

 

These massive British boxing fights I always really want to see, but forget or fall asleep, or fail to find a stream. This time, I found a perfect stream, HD, watched all the under cards. I was really excited for the fight. It totally delivered. What a rollercoaster. both at different stages looked finished, way before the stop. Joshua looked like Bambi on ice for about 2-3 rounds in the middle! Both just started again, and gave it all again. Was such an exciting watch.

 

Have to say Vlad the destroyer has earned an awful lot of respect all around the world for the way he has handled his defeat!
