I would have thought that was obvious from the score, 2 or 3 goals from us would not have changed that.

true. You had couple of decent chances. That one great low save from Thibo especially.
But like Ginger said - Costa missed 2 great one on ones and Pedro failed to find Costa twice for another set of one on ones.

Fine margins this game. Fellaini is the single biggest flaw in your starting line up. He didn't do much tbh.
It is not Rooney but Fellaini who drags your team down always.

Having said that - Jose will tune up everything a notch.
I see fair few Clean sheets for you in the next few games <ok>

I think we can all agree on that. He wasn't at fault for any of the goals today though, as you say he didn't do much but he didn't do much wrong either.

Hope you are right with the last bit :emoticon-0100-smile

still believe Jose has advantage overall for title.
Pep is as good as Poch - unproven. So still advantage Jose.

I am confident we can make top 4 - if Conte continues with this youthful Personnel.

Jose has no chance with that squad this year, too many holes in defence and no one to plug them with?

agree, utd despite all the spending just seem...poor.

defensivley, and in midfield too, they just were so weak.

this fascination with 4,2,31 has to end. its a really hard formation to get right and utd do nt have the players for it (mot teams in the league dont).

Brilliant write up. Mourinho's ManU were out thought and out fought - especially in midfield. Conte's system is now proving itself with the players adapting to it and now probably loving it. Fair shout to the ManU supporters that stayed 'til the end and applauded 'til the end when half their number had exited. ManU do look very dangerous going forward making this clean sheet against them very impressive.

    Chelsea are back 'ello.

You looked as bad today as we did most of last year. Conte has managed to change the whole atmosphere and attitude with our blokes, can Jose do the same? I don't think so. In recent times he seems to drop his head and adopt a bit of the Donald Trumps, blame everyone except himself. I think his ego will always be his worst enemy. He has the skill, he has the knowledge, does he have the man management flair?? Usually it's the cheque book that saves his arse. It works only until others have a cheque book of the same size. I hope Man Utd is not the rock he perishes on, but I think it might be.

If Pogba is worth £89m, what price Kante?

When Alonso was down in the second half the whole of the Matthew Harding Stand had their opinion on Pogba's worth with "what a waste of money". As for Kante's worth - he's a proven Premiership title winner at the unfancied club that is Leicester.

Indeed, Jose's ego will always be his worst enemy. I don't know why he had to talk into Antonio Conte's ear at the end of the game yesterday like a scornful teacher when a handshake would have sufficed. Jose always seems to like to provoke unecessary controversy.

The worry for United fans is Jose will deal with a heavy defeat the only way he knows how. Pick all the lumps and work horses and play boring 1-0 football. It wont have gone unnoticed Mata's role in the third goal having just come on. He probably won't get picked for a while.

Going to get pretty dull down at OT.

In an era where teams are playing high pressing attack minded football, Jose's approach and tactics look old hat and will really alienate the United faithful pretty quickly. .

Starting to really feel he has had his time now - unless he can evolve. Frightening to think how poor United look at the moment despite spending fortunes in recent windows. Such a scatter gun approach to managers and player recruitment post fergie.

Just watched the rerun of the match on Telly - orgasmic.

Key stat - 5 Assists already for Matic. His previous hightest assist tally in a season is 4.
    Cesc who?
Kante has taken pressure off Matic let alone the entire team.
Moses has taken pressure off Dave.

Entire team play like - they Love playing the Beautiful Game. That is something to behold.
They almost broke Kante in celebration after he scored that goal. Genuinely happy for him. Everyone hugged him.
    Entire team appreciates Kante.

Jose Humiliated say most of the newspapers, NOT Man U Humiliated. It is what a manager does. He shielded his piss poor players and took a bit of the flak onto himself diverted the media onto the track of a non-story. As Conte said, 'it was nothing'.
