Especially at his age he'd be mad to give up the chance to win a title. What more does he have to prove at Southampton under a new manager with the star players from last season sold?
I think if he's offered £150k a week as a last two year contract then it will be difficult to turn down. He's got a young family and an extra £10m would set them up for life. I feel for Saints as the players they've sold in recent years could probably challenge for the title as a team.
