Been a top class player, but like we have seen with Dawson once they lose a bit of mobility they start struggle. In the past their experience made up for loss of mobility, not so much anymore.
I've always found him vastly overrated. Good, brave, no nonsense centre half yeah. But he has a poor touch and pass, and his composure has always left a lot to be desired.
And aside from those short comings there's few more which make him a ... what's the word I'm looking for? Charism ... no. Collegi ... no. Concilia ... no. Oh, now I remember it's ****. He's a complete and utter ****!
Been a fantastic player. You'd love one of ours to come through the youth ranks and have the career he's had.
I heard on the radio the other day that for every single game since something like 1984 Ajax have had a youth team product appear in their first team. How many have we had go on to make even 50 appearances?
Hmm, to be fair Patster, saying young Josh ''could'' be close to someone like JayTee (the obnoxious, greedy **** him) is a bit like saying Lands End is near to John o' Groats. We'll mebbe come back to this in a year or two though
Nearest is Deano, started with us and went on to play 270 games (even if there was a big bit missing in the middle). Even Tom Cairney made 80 appearances before he left, Tymon has a way to go just to match him at the moment.
