Nothing story. Fraser won't move, also not sure his performances recently have been good enough to warrant interest.
I have no issue with FF leaving as I have been very disappointed in his poor performances as this season has developed. Could his possible angling for a move to cash rich Everton be a cause of his drop in performance? If this story is true
If it was anyone other than Everton, maybe not. But Koeman continued to rate Stekelenburg even after he was crap for us, & to be fair he hasn't done too badly there. This sounds like the usual Sun unsubstantiated cobblers though.
I think it's more likely that they would just sign Hart to be honest. Agree on your last line though.
Be gutted if Forster left ... think if Hart's available, teams will be more likely to go for him, in all hoensty.
Genuinely would - think there's an outstanding keeper there, whose going through a tough time confidence-wise it seems. He's been excellent for us in the past, in my opinion. Let's not forget he was being tipped to replace Hart at one point!
Forster is a good keeper.you dont pay 10 mil for a average keeper.seems to me he is just short of confidence and looks to me at least that he is still struggling with fitness/injury. He will come good again
Wrongly in my opinion, and only by Saints fans. Has he been excellent? Or was he behind one of the best defences in the league?
Also can't see a way that we start signing established/expensive PL players. What I am trying to say is, this is made up rubbish.
I tend to agree on established players, although goalkeeper is obviously a unique position and might be somewhere that policy could change. Joe Hart would be a very good signing - definitely an upgrade on Forster - but I would think we'd be outbid by someone like Liverpool or West Ham.
The other thing we should all remember is that we now have two young quality keepers in Hassen and McCarthy. Hassen is already hopefully pushing for a first team spot and once McCarthy has recovered he will be too. This will, in turn, make Fraser raise his game.
