Has he become another Nicky Maynard? I hate it when we give a chance to a relatively unknown who then turns on us stating we aren't good enough for their talents. At least in Kodjia's case we made some decent money but I wonder how much of it has been wasted this season?
Don't think he ever slatted us so no he's not like NM. His head was turned by his Agent I suspect but he's not said anything bad against us.
I have always believed that agents can often become the scourge of the game by, as you said, by turning young players heads with sometimes unreasonable promises. You will forgive my cynicism if I ask whether it has more to do with the agent's pockets rather than their client? I know what side of the story my money is on.
I think he described the deal as a 'no brainer- to go to a better club' which some fans may see as an insult.

I think in the main >95% of all agents are dependant on their players moving around, the rest can make a very good wage on the commission they get from advertising and doing events and promotions ... Kodija moved for £11m so the agent might get a 5% fee = £550K or as low as 2% ? £220k ... ? on a 3 year deal he has banked £70k a year ! you only need to have 10 or so players in your corral worth between £3m and £11m with 1 or 2 moving each year to be well heeled .... abd bear in mind.. every holiday is a working one! I guess they have football on the Maldives!
