So....we've lost our leading goalscorer. We've, as Ade Pennock says, got no defence. Achieved yet another draw........yet all this is with, as Paul Scally claims, the best (on paper) Gills side ever assembled. That is rubbish........we achieved more in the few years after facing the trapdoor of dropping into the non league void with a striker bought with the funds donated by the fans and a manager who is still showing the backbone that makes few friends but achieves results. The team of the late 90s and early noughties would totally demolish this overvalued and underperforming 'team' and I use the phrase loosely. Disappointed, yes, angry, yes. Gills supporter, yes. Are we not better than this? How are Southend where they are? Fleetwood? Rochdale? Yep.....frustrated, annoyed and frankly despairing of staying in league one this season. Feeling let down by the team and the club.
Can we even stay in lg 2 Windy? Remember Stockport County who came down with us in 2010 and then went straight out of league.the following year?
I'll quite enjoy the National League, trips to the likes of Dover & Maidstone, maybe even Ebbsfleet and their new stand. Oh hang on, they'll all be in a league above us by then
Rumours of JET constantly being late to training and having a bust up with Pennock. Also apparently there was drunk and disorder behaviour shown by JET on Monday or Tuesday which appears to be the reason of the bust up. He's not scored since October and he's just far too lazy for a relegation battle. The rumoured £4 grand a week we're paying just for his wages could easily be spent elsewhere and perhaps we can bring in a Centre Back who knows how to defend. The current defence certainly has no idea anyway.
Are we still paying his wages (or a part of his wages) until the end of the season then ? http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-wls-qpr-man-returns-loan-wont-play-rangers-season
