Best Driver: Maldonado. Yes really! Just 1s behind Grosjean and a good result from his starting slot. No one else really stood out as having done anything great.
Worst Driver: Rosberg, just for bottling it again at the start. How many more times will he do that?
Best Rookie (inc. Rossi): Verstappen. Looking like the real deal and putting one on Sainz again.
    Best Team: Mercedes
    Worst Team: Red Bull
Best Overtake: Probably Verstappen on somebody............

Most Surprising Result: Stevens keeping it out of the wall at 130R
Least Surprising Result: Rosberg failing to convert a pole into a win
Funniest moment: Alonso's comments about Honda
    Excuse of the week:

Special Mention: Manor. Tough weekend one year after Jules accident
Best post from the race thread: Not been about much to read through it.
Race Rating: ?/10: 6/10. Not the best, not the worst of the year.

Best Driver: a tie, Hamilton / Hulkenberg
    Worst Driver: Um... Stevens?
Best Rookie (inc. Rossi): Verstappen, despite his stupid parking
Best Team: Lotus bouncing back after Singapore
    Worst Team: McHonda
Best Overtake: Verstappen on his teammate

Most Surprising Result: Maldonado finishing in the points
Least Surprising Result: Honda PU still crap
    Funniest moment: "GP2 engine!"
Excuse of the week: It's been an excuse-free weekend, mostly. Rosberg being annoyed at Hamilton?

Special Mention: as ASC said, Manor
Best post from the race thread:
Race Rating: 4.5/10, not a lot of excitement for such a great track.

    Best Driver: Hulkenberg
    Worst Driver: Massa
Best Rookie (inc. Rossi): None were particularly good. Sainz if he didn't have his mistake though.
    Best Team: Force India
    Worst Team: Red Bull
Best Overtake: Was there anything not done on a Mclaren?

Most Surprising Result: Mclaren terrible down the straights
Least Surprising Result: the podium sitters
    Funniest moment: Nothing
    Excuse of the week: N/A?

Special Mention: Perez, taken out in the first lap then almost got points. Ricciardo for being taken out and nearly beating Kvyat. Bianchi.

tbf fair stevens that high speed spin he did on the corner, without burying it in the wall was pretty good driving

I think I was asleep at that point. In fairness it's slightly hard to pick on him, there wasn't really anyone who did anything egregiously terrible this race.

    Best Driver: Hulkenberg
Worst Driver: Ericsson - for binning it at the same corner he did in qualifying, though his pace wasn't all that bad.
    Best Rookie (inc. Rossi): Verstappen
    Best Team: Mercedes
    Worst Team: McLaren
Best Overtake: Kvyat on Ericsson, great opportunistic move and wheel to wheel racing, you could tell he had that planned as soon as he let Raikkonen through. Honourable mention for Grosjean's move on Ericsson at the first Degner too.

    Most Surprising Result: Hulkenberg
Least Surprising Result: Rosberg's meek surrender

Best Driver: Hamilton. Business as usual.
Worst Driver: Rosberg. Dreadful start, did well to finish second but for me still lacking last season's fighting spirit.
    Best Rookie (inc. Rossi): Verstappen.
    Best Team: Mercedes.
    Worst Team: McLaren.
Best Overtake: Kvyiat on Ericsson, very Verstappen-in-Monaco-esque

Most Surprising Result: Both McLarens actually finishing.
    Least Surprising Result: Hamilton.
    Funniest moment: Alonso's rant!
    Excuse of the week:

    Special Mention: Torro Rosso.

He was basically saying that he's completely in the wrong about talking over the radio about it being a GP2 engine, taking any creditibility from his drive simply because of that. I'll try find some recorded footage of it, but I can't guarantee anything!

Herbert knows nothing about winning. He just stumbles into it.

To be fair.. the McHonda looked decent enough in the corners, to do that, at a place like Suzuka means their chassis can't be all that bad..
With a decent engine they could have bagged a good chunk of points this season..
Hope, for their sake that they can get a more powerful and reliable engine for 2016

Still not convinced on the Chassis, I would have expected more in the wet practise.

    Best Driver: Hamilton
Worst Driver: Several were less than impressive but I can't choose a 'worst'.
    Best Rookie: Verstappen
    Best Team: Mercedes
    Worst Team: McLaren
Best Overtake: Kvyat v Ericsson was opportunism at it best. Next best – and also opportunistic – was Rosberg v Bottas, which I consider a better example of what followed later: Verstappen v Sainz.

Most Surprising Result: Sainz destroying the pit-lane bollard is highly unusual. Such public criticism of Honda was an eye-opener. I also expected a better result for Ricciardo.
Least Surprising Result: McLaren going backwards.
Funniest moment: Alonso's comments about what powers his car.
Excuse of the week: Nothing springs to mind. Conversely, I was impressed with Ron Dennis response to the BBC interview when I saw it earlier today because he did not come up with excuses.

Special Mention: Rosberg's fight-back was inspired. Ferrari's pit crew turned Räikkönnen around in just 2.2 seconds. Nasr also showed real racecraft when he outmanoeuvred Verstappen whilst both approached Button's GP2 engined McLaren.
Best post from the race thread: Number1 Jasper's reference to Helmut Marko (post 137). Others of note were EMSC's opening post (as ever); Bando's baby alarm clock; BLS' pasting of Vettel baiting Rosberg.
    Race Rating: 6.2/10

    Best Driver: HamAyrton and Hulk
Worst Driver: No one stood out as even the bad ones such as Rosberg, Stevens and Ericsson all did things to redeem themselves.
    Best Rookie: Verstappen
    Best Team: Mercedes
    Worst Team: McLaren
Best Overtake: Rosberg on Bottas and Kvyat on Ericsson

Most Surprising Result: Hulk up to 6th
    Least Surprising Result: Mercedes 1-2
    Funniest moment: Alonso on Honda
Excuse of the week: Rosberg being petty about Lewis

    Special Mention: Maldonado
