Nakhi Wells would be good. But as we aren't going to stump up the cash, Rhodes on loan, Trippier on loan and Forestieri from Sheff Wednesday. If the Wendies demand too much then Knockaert at Brighton would also be a decent move.
Only one game but Adam morgan scored a hat trick. Brought through Liverpool youth and now at Curzon Ashton. Some club will give him a go.
Swap deal, Hernandez for Rhodes. We lose a moody player who isn't scoring and isn't happy here. We gain a natural goal scorer who could still be a success in this division, given game time, and would be a huge asset if we did go down.
Marty Taylor.....Bristol Rovers...excellent goal scorer. Someone will snap him up... great future talent.
He's 26 and it would be a huge jump from the standard hes been playing at although on the plus side he's been scoring for fun. Not sure about the 9 we so desperately need but Max Gradel might be available, affordable and can cover both wings, play up front at a push and has a goal in him.
I think they have 2 good players, can't remember the other one & too tired now. Rhodes could be a swap for Harry, would like to think we can keep H & get Rhodes in, but unless a takeover happens I don't see either happening. Actually no takeover, I don't see anything happening at all.
Are we going to buy anyone? Can't see it It's probably too late for a fit and proper test even if it was bought today No new owners = no new transfer money If they sell Abel & Harry without replacing them FIRST then they really are clueless Sadly I expect they will do exactly that and then will scrabble around for last minute replacements (Has Levy got anyone else he wants rid of?)
Agree. But hopefully he's in a good I fancy playing tonite mood tonite (and until he goes). Whether he (AH) is good or crap is irrelevant. Clearly managers have an issue with him, and he isn't settled and committed, so he might as well go, even if it means we end up with a lessor player but one who actually plays regularly.
Rhodes can't play up front on his own. Seemingly favourite in Phelan's repertoire of **** non threatening formations.
Phelan said over the weekend that we're after a right back, a winger and a striker and nobody's leaving.
