He could hot-foot his pedalo out alongside my motor cruiser and Chazz could maybe paddle out on a lilo. Or an inflatable crocodile. They're selling like hot cakes over here atm. As are tennis balls on a length of elastic. Marketing genius the bloke who had the foresight to think that would work.
Yep daughters are twanging them non stop. Nearly hit me like n the bollocks a couple of times. Did manage to haggle the price down with the little Chinese woman for them, proud of that ernie
Back to the footy. Thinking about our rumoured interest in Gregory van der Wiel (presuming he is Silva's target) I wonder whether the boss appreciates the quality of Odabajo who could easily make the RB position his own next season. We could buy Omar at a fraction of the GvdW fee/ wages as decent back up for Moses and use the money saved on a solid left back with Robertson as cover at LB and LM.
He won't have seen much of Dave yet, but if he comes back as strong as he was I imagine he will be impressed. I'd take Omar, even if we go down I think he would come. I think Tymon is the natural successor to Robertson, who I still think will be converted to a winger.
Hopefully Tymon's chance will come at City, but we do need solidity in the fullback positions for the start of next season. There's no arguing with the stats which show our defence is the worst in the division and we need some experience to add to the potential talent we have at the back.
Not about us but I dunno where to post it... Reports in Italy state Alderweireld (sp? I've had a pint) has a £23.5m release clause. That's a bargain right there.
The reports go further, they say he's revealed that release clause to Spurs and told them to come and get him.
I saw a brother and his two sisters a couple of days ago. They all had said tennis ball on an elasticated cord contraptions, except that the brother's had become detached. Obviously as a face saver he was arguing that an elasticated string ball arrangement was vastly improved by having the two components separate. His sisters were coming round to the idea as I walked out of earshot. So, essentially a ball and a length of elastic, then. I'm away down the Patents Office wi' me round hoopy thing slash stick combo wot I've just invented as soon as I return to dear old Blighty.
